Centering Community and Accountability in Public Health Practice - A webinar: Wednesday December 8th 2021, 10am NZT

 

Join Dr Amohia Boulton and Dr Heather Gifford from Whakauae Research in collaboration with Dr Christina E. Oré from Seven Directions Centre for Indigenous Public Health, and Raquel Aviles from the Pascua Yaqui Tribe for a Gathering Grounds webinar to discuss the meaning and practice of community in Indigenous public health.

The webinar will specifically focus on the experiences of applying Indigenous health principles during the Covid-19 pandemic across Tribes, Nations, and Indigenous communities in the U.S. and Aotearoa, and will provide an exchange of ideas, resources and practices for Indigenous researchers and practitioners.
