Cutting Edge Administration

In early May two of our team attended a two-day digital workplace conference.  From thought leadership and business productivity, to hands on implementation, Stacey & Sonja from the Whakauae administration team attended the key note address and a wide range of workshops.  Meeting others working with office 365 SharePoint, OneDrive and so many other Microsoft applications gave us a greater appreciation of both what is available and how it is used, what challenges exist and what is required to create efficiencies.  Microsoft Office 365 has a wide range of products and solutions which are regularly updated.

The potential for team work, collaboration on documents and access to anything from anywhere was inspiring.  We had the opportunity to meet software providers and consultants from a range of disciplines. The many opportunities to network and share ideas was amazing and we look forward implementing some of our learning into our office and the research environment.
